  2. Take 1 cup urad dal
  3. Provide 1/4 cup Chana Dal
  4. Get 1/4 cup soaked poha

  1. Soak rice, urad dal, chana dal and fenugreek separately for 5-6 hours, remove the water and grind them separately. Also grind the soaked poha.
  2. Now mix rice paste and lentil paste together and add the soaked poha and mix well again. Keep the mixture covered for 8 hours. After the batter is formed, add salt to it and mix it well.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan. Apply a small bowl of batter to the pan and spread it a little.
  4. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, grated carrots, coriander to spread the toppings on the uttapam. Now sprinkle ginger powder, chaat masala and salt. Press it lightly.
  5. Cover it with lid and cook for 6-8 minut on a low flame. flip it over and cook it without covering.
  6. Serve uttapam with coconut chutney.
