- Get 3 cups rice
- Take 1 cup urad dal
- Provide 1/4 cup Chana Dal
- Get 1/4 cup soaked poha

- Soak rice, urad dal, chana dal and fenugreek separately for 5-6 hours, remove the water and grind them separately. Also grind the soaked poha.
- Now mix rice paste and lentil paste together and add the soaked poha and mix well again. Keep the mixture covered for 8 hours. After the batter is formed, add salt to it and mix it well.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Apply a small bowl of batter to the pan and spread it a little.
- Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, grated carrots, coriander to spread the toppings on the uttapam. Now sprinkle ginger powder, chaat masala and salt. Press it lightly.
- Cover it with lid and cook for 6-8 minut on a low flame. flip it over and cook it without covering.
- Serve uttapam with coconut chutney.
