The ingredients needed to make Orange Marmalade:
  1. Provide 3 Orange
  2. Take 500 gram sugar
  3. Prepare 1 1/4 litre water
  4. Provide 2 tsp lemon juice
Steps to make Orange Marmalade:
  1. Squeeze the orange and keep separate the juice and membranes
  2. Tie the membrane and seeds in a thin cloth.
  3. Remove completely the white pit from the orange skin and finely chopped it.
  4. Now mix the juice with 1.25litre water in a pot. Add finely chopped skin, lemon juice and tied membrane in that pot.Boil altogether for 30mins in medium Low flame.close with lid while boiling.
  5. After 30 mins remove the tied membrane.
  6. Add 500gram sugar and mix well. Keep stirring every 5mins. It will take nearly 45-60mins to get correct consistency.
  7. Pour some drops of sugar syrup in chilled plate. If the sugar syrup comes thicker, then switch of the flame immediately.
  8. Cool down and transfer into glass jar and refrigerate until use.
