- Prepare 2 cups almond crushed and powdered
- Take 5 eggs
- Prepare 2 tangy Malta oranges
- Get 1.5 cup powdered sugar
- Get 1 teaspoon baking powder
Steps to make Almond Orange cake:
- Firstly boil 2 juicy Malta oranges in water and then simmer them for around 1.5 hrs at low heat.
- After cooling them grind them in a mixer to form a smooth paste
- Separate the eggs from whites and whisk the whites for around 5-7 minutes till it forms a frothy mix
- Now to it add the whisked egg yolks..and whisk for another 2 minutes
- Now in this egg mixture add the orange pulp and whisk it all is combined well and forms a smooth mixture
