- Provide 5 small snake gourds
- Use 2 tbsp oil
- Take 1/2 tsp panch phoran
- Use 2 red chili,not hot
- Prepare 2 green chili, chopped

- Prepare 1 tbsp urad dal
- Provide 1 tbsp chana dal
- Get 1/3cup , grated coconut
- Take 1/3 tsp sambar powder
- Get 1/6 tsp , turmeric powder

Steps to make Snake gourd masala fry:
- Wash the snake gourds, very well, peel off the skin after removing the two ends.
- Chop the gourd to 3 pieces and each to two, longitudinally.
- Remove the inner seeds and white parts. Then chop them as shown in photo.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok. - Add and crackle ponch phoran. Then fry urad and chana dal,till golden brown,on low heat.
- Then add chopped green chili and whole red chili. Sauté for some seconds.
- Then add curry leaves and sauté till dried. Add grated ginger and sauté for few seconds.
- Transfer the chopped gourd to the wok. Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well, cover and cook on low flame till the veggies become soft.
