The ingredients needed to make Mini Snowballs:
  1. Provide 625 ml self-raising flour
  2. You need 125 g butter or margarine
  3. Use 250 ml castor sugar
  4. You need 5 ml vanilla essence
  5. Prepare 125 ml smooth apricot jam plus extra 45ml fir spreading
  6. Provide 125 ml water
  7. You need 1 cup desiccated coconut
  8. Use 125 ml sour milk
  9. Prepare Red food colouring
Steps to make Mini Snowballs:
  1. Soft the flour into a large bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs. Add castor sugar
  2. In another bowl, combine the sour milk and essence, then add to the dry mixture until a soft dough has formed
  3. Roll into 24 balls(I decide to make 12 giant balls this time) and place on a greased baking tray. Flatten slightly using a fork. Bake at 180 °C for 15-20 minutes. Leave to cool
  4. Heat the jam and water together to make a syrup. Spread eahals with the extra jam and sandwich together then dunk into the warm syrup
  5. Colour the coconut with red food colouring. Roll the snowball in the coconut and leave to cool. Enjoy!…
