The ingredients needed to prepare Oriental Fish Soup:
- Provide 360 Grams Fish Fillet (I use Toothfish)
- Prepare 1 Medium Onion, chopped
- Prepare 3 Stalks Celery Stick
- You need 1 Litre Chicken Stock/Broth
- You need 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- Use 2 Tsp Dry Sherry / Shaoxing Wine
- Prepare 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Use Salt, Pepper, Sugar for seasoning
Steps to make Oriental Fish Soup:
- Clean and fillet the fish, then marinate with Soy Sauce, Shaoxing Wine, and 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil, set aside in room temperature for 1 hour
- In the meantime, chop the onion, and celery stalks
- Saute the onion together with celery stalks, and close the lid for about 5 minutes
- Pour over the chicken broth into the pot, and the fish together with the marinate sauce
- Let it cook for about 10 minutes, then seasoned with salt, pepper, sugar. Taste and dish-up! Yum!!
