  6. Take 1 tsp dhanya and jeera powder

  9. Prepare 2 pkt puff pastry

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°c. Steam the potatoes until slightly soft.
  2. Heat oil on med heat in a saucepan and fry the onions till soft. Add the masala, dhanya and jeera powder,garlic and ginger, stir then add the cooked potatoes.
  3. Add the can of mixed veg and the salt, mix through and turn on low heat for 10mins. Take it off heat and allow to cool.
  4. Roll out the pastries on a floured surface and cut out 6 rounds using a saucer on each pastry roll.Spoon the curry filling in the centre of the circles and fold over. Seal the edges with a fork.Place the pies on greased trays, brush with milk and bake for 30/40 mins or till golden brown.MAKES 12 PIES
