  1. Put water, salt, oil, all whole spices (bay leaf, green cardamom pods, black pepper and cinnamon stick) in a pot and roast on a medium heat for 3 minutes. Put the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water and cook until al dente. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the pasta, keeping the water aside.
